Hyper-Reach Technology Privacy Policy

Our Commitment to Privacy

Hyper-Reach Technology respects the privacy of every visitor to our websites and every user of our mobile apps. Your privacy is important, and we work hard to protect it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use information about online visitors, app users and those who register for our services to public safety agencies. We understand that you care about your information and we want you to be fully informed about how we use that.

This Policy may be changed or updated from time to time. By visiting Hyper-Reach Technology or any of our websites or using one of our mobile apps, you accept the practices described in this Policy.

The Data We Collect

Our websites and mobile apps provide convenient ways for you to access our services and learn about what Hyper-Reach Technology does for public safety agencies, client corporations and others. We collect information about our online visitors both directly from our visitors and indirectly from other companies that provide data to us. We use this information to communicate with you, others who have registered or visited our websites, used our apps, etc., and our clients and to provide services to you. Where appropriate, we collect information for our clients, such as public safety agencies, to communicate with their citizens, or organizations, to communicate with their employees, contractors and/or customers. Your data is not used for any other purposes or shared with third parties other than those described in this policy. Your data is removed upon your withdrawal of consent, your request to terminate our services or the request of customers to terminate the services for which we have gathered your data.

Our websites use Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States and allows us to notice trends to improve the user experience on our websites. Google Analytics processes personal data such as: the unique User ID set by Google Analytics, the date and time, the title of the page being viewed, the URL of the page being viewed, the URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page, the screen resolution, the time in local timezone, the files that were clicked on and downloaded, the links clicked on to an outside domain, the type of device, and the country, region, and city.  You may opt out of this tracking at any time by activating the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser.

When you use our websites or apps to register for emergency notifications or other information or to ask about our services, we may ask you for your name, address, phone number(s), email address and other information relevant to the situation. We use this information to communicate with you or to allow our Hyper-Reach customers to communicate with you.

If you visit the website of one of our Hyper-Reach clients, we may ask you to authorize browser notifications. We use those browser notification permissions to send you messages either directly or on behalf of our Hyper-Reach customers. If you want to disable those notifications, you can do so in the settings of the browser you used to authorize those notifications.

We obtain information from our Hyper-Reach customers about their Facebook, Twitter or other social media accounts. We use this information to send information for those customers through their newsfeeds, which are then delivered to social media users who follow or otherwise receive information through those newsfeeds.

We obtain information from our Human Resources customers (for example Telephone Time Punch) about their employees. Usually, this information is limited to their employee ID number or other data that will allow us to record information we gather in a related human resource system. We use this information to report when an employee has started or ended work, will be late or absent for work, as well as related information. We do not store this information in our systems for more than a few days and will always delete it automatically within 30 days. With regard to our human resource systems, we do not store the names, address, or contact information of employees, although we may briefly use such information from our customers’ data for the purposes of communicating with either the employee or their employer.

We obtain information about our online visitors from other sources as well. For example, we engage vendors that provide contact information and other data. We use this data to help us more effectively contact citizens in an emergency, engage with people who may be interested in Hyper-Reach Technology services or for other purposes relevant to our mission.

We may also collect non-personal information about our online visitors using “cookies”, pixels, and other technologies that operate automatically when you visit our website. We use this information to give our website visitors a more relevant online experience and to help us make website improvements. The information helps us understand which parts of our websites are the most popular, where our online visitors are going, and how long they spend there. If you do not want us to collect information using cookies, you can disable this function in your browser. If you block cookies from us, however, you may not be able to see personalized content and our website may not function optimally.
